ComputerBuzz, Inc.

ComputerBuzz, a management consulting company, was founded in 1997 by Janet Allison. Today, the company serves both small businesses and large corporations.
When potential clients contact ComputerBuzz, they are met with a management consulting firm that not only listens, but also understand the technology and accounting aspects of running a business. In fact, Allison brings her personal software and technology expertise to each client that ComputerBuzz serves.
Allison's entrepreneurial spirit has helped the company become the success it is today. Motivated by a desire to own her own company and provide critical services for business operations, Allison worked her way up in the industry and put herself through college. In 1984, she worked with one of the first PC networking installations and became an advocate for technology in the workplace.
When Allison founded the company, she brought with her an extensive background in the accounting field. She also had a background in management consulting and systems installation. Today, customers keep coming back to Computer Buzz because the company is grounded on the core values of integrity, honesty and hard work.
Allison, an Atlanta native, has seen the local business environment change over the years, as new technology has been embraced by businesses. The year she founded the business, less than half of her business clients' had Internet access. Allison found her niche in the marketplace by helping local business owners embrace changes in technology. She has worked with executives to train them on operating systems that increase productivity and increase revenues.
In addition to serving clients, the company prides itself on giving back to the community. Allison has spent a great deal of energy inspiring other business women and mentoring young college graduates. The company supports multiple charities each year, a few of these include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the National Breast Cancer Coalition, the Georgia Special Olympics, projects that help protect women against domestic violence and youth sports teams.
